Mary Helen Hobbs Hutson, passed away on March 1, 2018 at her home in Mount Pleasant, Texas. She was born on January 13, 1924 in Mount Pleasant to Edgar Hobbs and Lillie Moore Hobbs.
Helen was a member of First Baptist Church Mount Pleasant.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Lanny and Judy Hutson of Wimberly, Texas; grandchildren and spouses Darin and Crissie Hawley of Elgin, Texas, Lana and Shannon Owen of Archer City, Texas, Traci Mitchell of Round Rock, Texas, Amy Merideth of Austin, Texas; grandchild-in-law Tammy Hutson of The Colony, Texas; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Yvonne Hobbs of Garland, Texas; sister and brother-in-law Shirley and Glenn Eakins of Tyler, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Charlie Hutson; grandson Scott Hutson; brothers Kylon and Ottis Hobbs; and sisters Erma Rost and Oleta Whitfield.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Farmers Academy Cemetery.
