Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late Ernest A. and Sudie Cates Jetton and had lived her entire life in the Maury City Community. She was married to Johnny Williams who preceded her in death in 2012 and was a retired beautician and teacher. Until her illness, she was an active member of the Maury City United Methodist Church serving in many capacities. Mrs. Williams was known for her caramel pies.
Survivors include two daughters, Susie Riley (Rick) and Johnna K. Slayton (Harber); son, Eddie Williams (Yancy); sister, Nancy Ward; sister in law, Karen Jetton; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
