Harry W. Rogers, loving father and grandfather, died of heart disease in his home on February 26, 2018, at the age of 70. Harry was born September 12, 1947 in Kansas City, MO, the son of Walter Edward and Ella Maria (Payne) Rogers. Harry is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Rogers. He is survived by his daughter, Christina (Christy) Deckner and husband Sturet, son, Justin Rogers, sisters, Letha Stepnik and husband Ed, Leona Cart and husband Don, brothers, Gary and wife Lynda, Jerry and wife Marsha, Perry his wife Tammy, and Terry and his wife Cheng, grandchildren, Ryan Deckner, Victoria (Tori) Deckner, and great grandson, Tyler Knight. Harry served twenty three years in the United States Navy as a Senior Chief Boatswain mate. After retiring from the Navy, Harry enjoyed driving all over the United States as an Independent Truck Driver. Before moving to his final home in Cut-In-Shoot, TX Harry resided in Nome, TX. Harry also enjoyed long walks with his favorite companion Joey. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2018 at 12:30pm in Cashner Colonial Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 11:30am to 12:30pm. Entombment will follow in the Garden Park Mausoleum.
