Born January 31, 1934 in Conway, he was the son of the late Ernest Gary and Gussie Jenerette Jordan. Nathan was a member of Oakey Swamp Baptist Church. He was a painter and the owner and operator of Jordan's Convenience Store. His hobbies included fishing and working in his vegetable garden. Nathan was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jo Jordan; three brothers, Ellis "E.G." Jordan, Bill P. Jordan, and Riley Jordan; two sisters, Addie Lou Dubberly and Sara Jo Potter; and two grandsons, Robbie Smith and Shannon Hughes.
Surviving are his three daughters, Sheryl Kennedy (Mike) of Ft. Valley, GA, Patty Smith, and Deborah Hughes (Glen) of Conway; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one sister, Thelma Roberts (Henry) of Conway.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Friday, March 2, 2018 at Oakey Swamp Baptist Church with Rev. Darren Hardwick and Mr. Ron Peavy officiating.
