Michael Lynn Helton, age 71, of Mohawk, passed away Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Laughlin Memorial Hospital in Greeneville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella Faye Helton; parents, Herman and Laura Belle Helton; brothers, Robert Helton and Sanford Helton; sisters, Jeanette Helton and Melissa Helton; and great-grandchild, Kayden Targe Fontanie. He is survived by his sons, Michael Helton and Jeff Helton; daughter, Laura Campbell; grandchildren, Casey Matthews and Jessica Masengill; great-grandchildren, Abigail Wallace and Brayden Masengill; brothers, Terry Helton, Daniel Helton, Orville Helton, Mickey Helton, and Eddie Helton; and sisters, Barbara Hopkins, Laura Jinks, and Regina Crigger. The family will receive friends from 6 8 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4 at the funeral home with Rev. Jack Greene officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery in Mohawk. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home in Morristown.
