LOWELL - Stephen R. Dunn, age 49 of Lowell, died unexpectedly on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Lowell General Hospital with his mother and brother at his side. He was the beloved son of Kathleen (Spellman) Dunn of Northampton and the late Peter W. Dunn.
Steve graduated from Westford Academy where he excelled in football, basketball and track. He holds a bachelors degree from the University of New Hampshire in Durham where he played football for the Divisional Championship Team.
He was an accomplished athlete, artist, karaoke singer and aspiring guitarist. Most importantly, Steve was a collector of friends.
In addition to his mother, Steve is survived by his brother, Ryan C. Dunn and his wife Michelle of Brookline NH; cherished nieces, Madison, Emma, Payton and Kendall; aunts and uncles, Robert and Edwina D'Aiuto of Homosassa Springs, Fl; Kathleen Dunn of West Greenwich, RI and Kenneth Spellman of Enfield, CT.
DUNN - There will be no visitation. Friends are respectfully invited to his funeral mass at St. Mary Church, 25 North Road, Chelmsford, on Saturday, March 3rd at 11:00AM. Following the mass, Steve will be buried with his father at Fairview Cemetery, Tadmuck Rd. and Main St., Westford.
