Catherine Ann Crumb McBride, 63, of rural Freeport since 2003, formerly of Rockford, died at 4:46 p.m., Sunday, February 25, 2018, in her home. She was born June 16, 1954, in Chicago, the daughter of Charles and Wanda (Werner) Crumb.
Catherine was formerly employed by Kable News in Mt. Morris for 20 years. She married the love of her life, John McBride on March 29, 1993.
Catherine enjoyed gardening, her rural home, and spending time with her friends and family.
She is survived by: her husband, John; daughter, Colleen McBride (Carmen Spinelli); granddaughters, Amber McBride Saucedo (Luis) and Chelsea Glodo; and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by: parents; and grandson, A.J. Glodo.
