Kenneth Joe York, 75, of Waynesville, Mo. entered eternal glory with Jesus Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at his residence.

He was born on November 6, 1942, to Tom Melvin and Opal Marie (Adams) York at Waynesville. On August 19, 1994, at Osage Beach he was united in marriage to Charlene Porter.

Kenneth, until recently, had been a life time member of Mt. Gibson Baptist Church. He was a member of Cave State Cruisers. He enjoyed restoring old vehicles, playing guitar and listening to 50's and 60's music.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Opal York; son, Timmy York; stepson, Danny Riddle; and brother, Melvin York.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene of the home; daughters, Tammy Thomas and husband Chris of Waynesville, Angela Coffey and husband Timothy of Tacoma, Wash.; stepdaughter, Angela Adams and husband Jeff of Gerald; brother, Harold York and wife Peggy of Waynesville; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be on Saturday, March 3 from 9-11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church in Waynesville.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, March 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Graves officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Gibson Cemetery in Waynesville.
