Bobby L. Curtis of Tyler, Texas passed from this life into eternity with his Lord and savior Jesus Christ at the age of 84. Graveside services for Bobby will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 am at Tyler Memorial Cemetery with his son-in-law Pastor Morgan Boardman officiating.
Bobby was born July 13, 1933 in Wills Point, Texas and died February 27, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. He grew up, worked and lived in Canton, Texas for most of his life and spent the last 15 years in Tyler with his beloved wife. He is retired from Texas Highway Department and Red Ball Motor Freight. Bobby served in the Army of the United States. He was a member of Westwood Baptist Church in Tyler.
He is survived by his wife Johnnita Curtis of Tyler, Texas, daughter Glenda Hannigan and her husband Bruce of Circleville, Ohio, daughter Kay Rollins and her husband Kenny of Gun Barrel City, Texas, step daughter Teresa Boardman and her husband Morgan of Garland, Texas, his grandchildren Chelsea Dupler and her husband Anthony, Raschelle Martin, Kassi Fountain and her husband Brad, Taylor Boardman, Lynnsey Boardman, and four great grandchildren, sister, Oleta Edwards, sister Shirley Shaw and husband Freddy and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside visitation is scheduled one hour before the service at 10:00 am at the cemetery.
