IZER, Helen Irene, 86, of Zephyrhills, Fla., passed away June 23, 2008, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice Center in Dade City. Born February 2, 1922, in Polo, Ill., the daughter of Ira and Ella (Emmert) Hahn, she married Harry F. Izer August 19, 1940, in Albany, Wis.
She was employed at General Electric of Morrison for 25 years. She lived in Florida for past 38 years. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and playing her organ.
Survivors include sons, Ronald Izer of Clinton, Iowa, Steven (Daphne) Izer of Lisbon, Maine, and Jerry (Marlene) Izer of Mount Morris, Ill.; daughter, Patti Izer of Zephyrhills, Fla.; 12 grand-children; and 22 great-grand-children. She was predeceased by her husband, two sisters, two brothers and one grandson.
Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, June 27, at the 301 chapel of Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, with inurnment following at Chapel Hill Gardens Cemetery.
