She worked for 25 years for CCISD as a food service manager and training manager. She truly loved her work and all the children who passed though her life. After retirement she began volunteer work at Bay Area Medical Center. She found being able to help people at the Medical Center very rewarding. Soon she would have celebrated 20 years of volunteer service. She was a dedicated member of her church and was always willing to help wherever she was needed. In addition, she was a lifetime member of the DAV auxiliary.
She was a proud mother of two sons, an amazing mother-in-law, a devoted wife and a great friend to many. Were going to miss her greatly but know shell be looking out for us always.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Angela, brother, James, sisters, Juanita and Frances, step-father, Victor English, and her beloved husband, Ed Hunt. She is survived by her brother Pete Narkates and wife Kathryn, son Ed and wife Candy, son David and wife Susan, grandson Jacob, great-grandchildren, Xen and Arissa and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. that same day at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Seaside Memorial Park.
