B.A. Simpson is my 2nd great grandfather. He "ran away from home" around the age of 15 and made his fortune as an Oilman. Burt A. and his first wife, Alice Morgeson, had 4 children: Walter, Elizabeth, Georgie and Burt, Jr., all born in Gainesville, Cooke County, Texas. His second wife, Lillian Whiteman, of Louisiana, had no children. They lived in Ardmore, Indian Territory.
