Bob was the beloved husband of Dorothy for over 65 years. Loved father of Julie McKie (Tim McArthur) of Burlington, Wendy Thompson (David) of Tea Gardens, NSW, Australia, Sharon Hecktus (Tim) of Kitchener, Keith McKie (Rhonda) of Grand Valley, and Patricia Anderson (John) of Owen Sound. Cherished grandfather to 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Bob was a successful farmer, all of his life, in the Freeport and Kosuth parts of Waterloo Township.
He loved playing cards and square dancing, and visiting his neighbours, friends and relatives.
He was a long time member and actively involved with Hespeler Presbyterian Church.
Like many farmers, Bob's vegetable and flower gardens, were his pride and joy!. His trout ponds were extremely special to him.
