Edna Kendall, 90, New Castle, died unexpectedly Friday morning at Henry County Memorial Hospital, New Castle.
Born Aug. 5, 1897, at a farm east of Kennard, she was the daughter of Seth and Alice Wood McLeland.
Mrs. Kendall was a member of Kennard Christian Church, was active for 63 years as a member of Willing Workers Ladies Organization of the church and was a member of Locust Grove Community Club. She was a 1915 graduate of Kennard High School.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1957.
Survivors include two sons, Warren and Leland Kendall.
