Linda Johnson Irby, 71, of Hattiesburg, passed away on February 25, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital.
She was born on January 28, 1947 to Chester and Earline (Cooper) Johnson, Sr. in Quitman, MS.
She was a longtime Sunday School teacher that loved spending time with her church family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.
Linda is survived by her son, Patrick (Beverly) Irby; daughter, Montez (Ron) Oudenaarden; brothers, Ronnie (Barbara) Johnson and Michael Johnson; sister, Candace (Ted) Abston; sister-in-law, Bettye (Fairley) Robinson; grandchildren, Andrew Oudenaarden, Laura Oudenaarden, Courtney (Adam) Irby-Saucier, Savannah Irby and Trudie Irby.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Earline Johnson, Sr. and brother, Chester Johnson, Jr.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 27, 2018, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at Wright's Funeral Home, Quitman, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, 2:00 pm at the Wright's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chance May officiating.
Burial will take place in the East Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Oudenaarden, Adam Saucier, Ronnie Robinson, Fairley Robinson, Kevin Abston, and Shannon Abston.
