Leah F. Jones, age 96, of Minocqua, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Avanti Health and Rehabilitation. She was born on November 17, 1921 in Irma, the daughter of Vern and Gladys (nee Hayes) Goodnow. Leah was a longtime member at Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed snowmobiling, drawing, sewing and gardening. Leah is preceded in death by her husband, Harold; siblings, Elsworth Goodnow, Fay Allen Goodnow, Elva Woods, Bonita Barnhart, Keith Goodnow and niece, Sally Grenier. Leah is survived by her son, Lloyd Jones; grandchildren, Jason Jones and Jolene (Jody) Burg; great grandchildren, Alyssa Burg, Ian Burg and Jayden Jones and many nieces and nephews. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Minocqua, with visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in the spring.
