Terry Joan Grimes was born August 1, 1957 in Pryor, OK to Troy Eugene and Nanie Bell (Kiddy) Littlefield. She departed this life and went to be with the LORD on February, 23, 2018 at the age of 60 years, 6 months, and 22 days at her home in Peggs on Spring Creek. Spring Creek was the most special place on Earth to Terry. She lived there for all of her 60 plus years and felt that Spring Creek was her heaven on earth. Terry attended Peggs Elementary School as a child and for the last 15 years she worked there as a teacher’s aide. She also served as an election official for Cherokee County election board, as secretary for the Peggs Alumni Board, a position she currently held. She took pride in all that she did and always did things to the best of her ability. On May 25, 1975 Terry married the love of her life Bill Grimes. They raised two sons together, Shannon and T.J. She also has two grandsons Jeremy and Dakota.

Terry loved to travel and Branson, MO was one of her favorite places to visit which she did several times a year. Terry attended two churches that she considered home, Peggs Community and Grace and Peace Fellowship. Terry loved the LORD and she let her light shine everywhere she went. Terry was the crème of the crop in our little town of Peggs. To know her was to love her and she will be greatly missed.

Terry is survived by William Grimes, her husband of nearly 43 years, both sons, Dr. Shannon Grimes of Peggs, OK and Troy James Grimes and wife Stacey Grimes of Peggs, OK, along with both grandsons Jeremy Grimes and Dakota Williamson. She is also survived by three sisters, Gailda Sanders and husband Pete of Mannford, OK, Pamela Maag and husband Doug of Peggs, OK, and Kathy Lay and husband Kim of Peggs, OK. She is survived by one brother, Kevin Littlefield and wife Marla also of Peggs, OK and many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones of which there are too many to mention. Terry was preceded in death by both parents and one brother, Dale Littlefield.
