Lewisville April 25, 1940 - April 6, 2016 Melba Jean Beauchamp, 75, passed away peacefully April 6, 2016, surrounded by her loving family and friends. Melba was born April 25, 1940 in West Virginia, to the late Harold M. Shaw and Lydia Mae Shaw. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Harold M. Shaw, Jr. Melba's happy place was her beach house at Pirateland in Myrtle Beach, SC. Melba worked as the director at Immanuel Baptist Day Care for many years and worked at the K&W Cafeteria until her retirement. She is survived by her husband, Ronnie Beauchamp; sons, Terry Beauchamp and Dean Beauchamp (Donna); sister, Linda Knight (Terry); three grandchildren: Amanda Johnson (Eric), Tyler Beauchamp (Ashley), and Emily Beauchamp all of Winston-Salem; three great-grandchildren: Cooper, Kinston, and Channing; two sisters-in-law, Diane Manuel and Shirleen Benson; and many special friends. Visitation will be Friday, April 8, from 6-8pm at Immanuel Baptist Church in Clemmons, where she was a longtime member. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Sunday, April 10, 2016 at Immanuel Baptist Church.
