He was the son of Anton 'Tony" and Shirley (Planzer) Stricker. He married Shelley Powers on July 25, 1987, in Harvard. He was the owner of Swiss Maid Bakery in Harvard, where he had worked since 1986. He was a member of Woodstock Bible Church, the Harvard Moose Lodge, the Baker's Dozen, and the Harvard Jaycees. He was an awesome cook, enjoyed fishing, and most especially was a loving husband and a devoted father. Survivors include his wife; five children, Alek, Macey, Mikhal, Karson and Kaegan, all at home; his parents, of Harvard; five brothers, Kurt (Lori) of Harvard, Paul (Laura) of Williams Bay, Wisconsin, Mark (Kim) of Harvard, John (Chris) of Harvard and Todd (Lindsey) of Geneva, Illinois; and 18 nieces and nephews.
