He was born on February 27, 1956, in Big Spring, Texas, to J.C. and Nina Ray Barnett. He moved to Midland in 1961.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, J.C. and Joyce Barnett; brother, Rickey L. Barnett and his wife, Pattie of Midland; sister, Pamela Vincent and her husband, Rusty of Midland; stepsister, Marian Mccraw of Waxahachie; stepsister, Sherry Hamby of Dallas; two nieces; two nephews; his special companion of 18 years, Wally, his cocker spaniel; and many dear and special friends.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Dr. Gregory Bartha, Randy's nurses on the 4th floor and Kristen in CCU.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to the AIDS Foundation or the chairty of your choice.
