Elizabeth “Betty” Burrage Barber Lusk passed away in her sleep on February 22, 2018. Born on August 21, 1927 in Chicago, IL, she was 90 1/2 years old.
Betty married Harry Warren Lusk on February 7, 1948 in La Jolla, CA. They had one child, Amy.
Betty worked at the Scripps Institute of Oceanography for 10 years and was an elementary school teacher for 20 years.
She loved traveling, reading, exploring her family’s past through genealogy, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her daughter Amy (Michael) Conboy; three grandchildren Cameron (Roxana) Conboy, Courtney (Connor) Green, and Cassandra (Ian) Neel; and one great granddaughter, Keira Elizabeth Green, with a great grandson, James Jackson Neel, on the way.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11am at College Avenue Baptist Church in the Fireside Room. CABC is located at 4747 College Avenue, San Diego, CA 92115.
