John Grab of Midland died Tuesday Nov. 2. Mass will be 3 p.m. Saturday Nov. 6 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 6, 1912 to Joseph Grab and Emma Grab in St. Louis, Mo., where he was raised and educated. In 1944, he married Marie Thompson. He worked for Anheuser Busch and retired from Falstaff Brewing Company in 1974. He moved to Midland in 1989 and was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and four sisters.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Leslie Buckley of Midland; two grandchildren; and a sister, Clara Holloway of Cahokia, Ill.
