Maurice "Bill" Sumner, a native of Clearwater, Florida and a lifelong resident of the Tampa Bay area, died at Sunshine Village Nursing Home in Pinellas Park, Florida. Mr. Sumner was a charter member of St. Paul United Methodist Church of Largo. Survivors include his wife, Irene Minnie Alexander; a son, two daughters, two sisters, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. F. T. Blount Co. Funeral Homes, Tampa Chapel, in charge of arrangements.
