Patrick Joseph Hurley, 67, of Fillmore, passed away on February 20, 2018 at the Anderson Medical Center in Meridian, MS . He was born on December 28, 1950.

He served his country in the United States Marines during Vietnam, where he received the National Defense Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 1 Star, Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device, Good Conduct Medal, and the RVN Cross of Gallantry with Palm and Frame.

Pat worked in auto body repair, was also a teacher and he enjoyed hunting, flying, and riding motorcycles.

He was a great father, grandfather, as well as a best friend.

Pat is survived by his children, Ashlee (Brian) LaPaugh, Patrick (Amber) Hurley, Jr., Paul (Arminda) Hurley, Robert (Stephanie) Hurley; grandchildren, Brianna, Bailey, Ava, Ayden, Jackson, Keira, Nova, Christopher, Dallas, Paul Jr.; siblings, Ruthie Davis Jones, Teresa Skaggs, Mike Hurley, and Colleen Glore

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Hurley; and his father, Paul Joseph Hurley.

Services March 2, 2018, at Maple Hill Cemetery, 709 Harding Street Plainfield, IN 46168, with Military Honors.
Burial will take place in the Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.
