Nina Sue Peterson, age 61, of Macon, GA passed away on February 23, 2018. She was born in Warm Springs, GA on November 25, 1956 to Oliver and Elsie Booker. A majority of her childhood was spent in Macon and she graduated from Georgia College with a degree in Accounting.
Sue retired from the Bibb County Board of Education as their Funds Manager in 2009 and spent her free time enjoying her work with the Macon Women's Sertoma Club, traveling with her husband, Lawrence, and enjoying her cats.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver J. and Elsie Wilson Booker, Jr.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years, Lawrence Peterson, of Macon, her brother and sister-in-law Oliver and Kate Booker, III, of Madison, sister and brother-in-law, Charles and Margaret (Peterson) Laurens of St. Simons Island, GA, several nieces and nephews, and one great-nephew.
Graveside services were held on February 28, 2018 at Macon Memorial Park.
