Martha passed away early Saturday morning on February 24, 2018 in Austin. She was born on August 15, 1921 in Troup, to the late Earl and Olive Warner Brown.
She retired from Pasadena State Bank and was a member of Bullard Baptist Church for many years before moving to Austin.
Martha is survived by her two sons Thomas E. Burns of Lenoir, North Carolina and John O. Burns of Garland; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
