PENDLETON — Jered “Jerry” Robert Ford, 21, of Pendleton died Dec. 18, 2013, at his home. He was born May 30, 1992, in Noblesville and was a lifelong Pendleton resident. Jered was a 2010 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and attended Harrison College in Anderson, where he was an honor student on the dean’s list pursing a degree in medical technology. He enjoyed his family, cooking, and loved and cared for his brother, Nate, and his dog, Lily. Jered was a kind and compassionate young man and a special friend to all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Lori Divens of Pendleton; brother, Nate Divens of Pendleton; grandparents, John “Pappy” and Debby “Mimi” Dann of Albany, Jane Ford of Dunkirk, and Edward “Butch” and Olice Green of Kokomo; stepgrandmother, Brenda Divens of Desoto; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Darin Robert Ford, and a grandfather, Robert Ford. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton, led by Pastor Trey Oldham. Visitation will be from 3 until 5 p.m. Saturday at Lahm Chapel. The family requests that guests wear casual attire. Memorial contributions may be made to Pendleton Emergency Ambulance, P.O.
