Funeral services were held Sunday in the Rock Creek church yard, conducted by Reverend Bowman.
Lydia Alexander, born April 8, 1841 at Piney Grove, MD., died near Sabetha at the home of her nephew, Silas Feek, December 13, 1918. She had complications of diseases including hearttrouble, lingering for three weeks.
She was married in Maryland in 1863 to John Alexander. To this union were born two children, both of whom preceded her in death.
She was the oldest of sixteen children. She has living three brothers and three sisters.
