Jody Black and Ethel Brunson.
He is survived by the
Mother of his six children and faithful companion, Velda Parker Black;

Milton Black, and his wife Barbara of Albuquerque; his brother, Donnie Black, of Alamogordo; his
Sister
Patsy Warden, & husband, Guy, of Tularosa;
Sister,
Tommie Allen, & husband, Butch, of Corona.
Bill is also survived by his
Daughter
Judi Golden, and her husband, Rob, of Artesia; his Daughter, Susan Stringfield, of Alamogordo; his Daughter, Billie Hall, & husband, Brad, of Las Cruces; his
Son,
Michael Black, of Alamogordo; his
Son,
David Black, and his wife, Lorrie, of High Rolls; and his
Son,
Roger Black, and his wife, Deneen, of Alamogordo.
Bill has 17 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
Bill worked for over 40 years in the telecommunications industry for AT&T, Mountain Bell, and other companies. He enjoyed country music, dancing, hunting with his sons and grandsons, camping, building projects, driving new trucks, and eating good food. And, he was an avid Dallas Cowboy football fan. He actively supported his many grandchildren and great grandchildren in their sporting and music events and was always willing to lend a helping hand.
The Memorial Service for Billy Black at 2:00 pm, Friday, February 23, 2018 at Alamogordo Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Bryant officiating.
