Bonnie Rae (Anderson) Reid passed away at the age of 64 at 12:01am on January 3, 2018, surrounded by family. She lived with her granddaughter, Corrin Queen and family, for the last 14 months in Ocala, FL. She passed away at the Monroe Regional Medical Center in Ocala, FL.

Born of Frank T Anderson Jr. (deceased 2011) and Barbara Rae (Taylor) Anderson (deceased 1995) on
September 13, 1953, at the National Naval Medical Center (Bethesda Naval Hospital), MD; Bonnie
graduated from Lackey High School, Indian Head, MD, in 1971. While in high school, she became a
model for the Barbizon School of Modeling prior to marrying Luther “Lucky” Lane in 1971 after
graduation. They had 2 children; Penny Rae Lane, born 1972 (deceased 1993), and Hollie Renèe Lane,
born 1973. In 1989, Bonnie and Thomas (Tommy) F Reid (deceased 1997) were married. After high
school and throughout her life Bonnie held many positions; child care at Grace Baptist Church School, Teacher at Potomac Heights Christian Academy, Home Health Care, volunteered for Hospice care, BusDriver with St Mary's Public School System, office worker for St. Mary's County Economic Development, and retired as a Bus Driver/Dispatcher/Office Worker for St. Mary's County Transit System (STS). Bonnie was also involved with and served as an advocate for the Ostomy Association where she volunteered to visit patients considering a colostomy or ileostomy and gave group talks.

Bonnie raised her granddaughter Corrin from 10+ months old after the death of her daughter Penny in 1993. She moved to Florida to live with Corrin and her family 14 months ago. This last Christmas
before she died was a wonderful time with family.

Throughout Bonnie's life she had a love for many
pets to include dogs, cats and birds. She loved and helped animals who needed her and she needed
them. Bonnie had a “thing” for lady bugs, owls and other collectibles. She had a love of crafts and
made things for the family, especially at Christmastime. Bonnie gave of herself, forgave easily, was a Loving person, Christian, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Aunt and Sister.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter Hollie R Lane of Mechanicsville, MD; granddaughter Corrin D
Queen, her partner Reggie Johnson and great grandson Romeo Johnson of Ocala, FL; granddaughter Dannielle S Lane, her partner Jason Smith, and great granddaughter Shaelee R Smith; , grandsons Trystin and Kody Bateman, all of Mechanicsville, MD; niece Bobbie Jean Anderson of Lowell, MA; sisters Charlotte “Charlie” Anderson and her partner Jane Lambert of Rivesville, WV; Frances “Fran” Puckett of West Gardiner, ME; Virginia “Ginny” Anderson of Stafford, VA; and many other cousins and relatives throughout the East.
