Paul Ross Sliver, July 10, 2012, age 78. Beloved husband of Mary Jean (nee Cheek) for 55 years. Loving father of Debra Shaw, Paulette (Larry) Opalewski, Steven (Lena) Sliver, and Rochelle (Jim) Turay. Proud grandfather of Liberty, Elliot, Ryan, Larry Jr., Danielle, Paula Ann, Jessica, and Joshua. Great-grandfather of Kalynn, Andrew, and Olive Grace. Also survived by his cousin, Charles "Eddie" Sliver. Preceded in death by his parents Glenn C. Sliver and Lydia L. Chitwood (nee Drew), brothers Joe Richard Sliver and Alva L. Sliver, and a sister Evelyn L. Gant. Born November 26, 1933 in Eaton, Ohio. Paul was a past president of the UFCW Union Local 876 and a member of Berkley Masonic Lodge #536, F. &A.M. A memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 10a.m. until time of memorial service 12:30p.m. at Resurrection Funeral Home, 40800 Hayes Rd. (S. of 18 Mi. Rd.) Clinton Twp. Memorial contributions to the March of Dimes would be appreciated.
