Charles W. “CW“ Guy, age 78, of Kokomo, Indiana entered into the gates of Heaven on February 23, 2018 to be with his wife Gloria, and reunite with his fallen brothers from the Marines Corps.
CW was born on June 3, 1939 in Claiborne, TN to Walter Charles and Flora V. (White) Guy. He married Gloria J. Lane on December 5, 1968 in a ceremony held in Kokomo, Indiana. They had shared 49 years together before her passing on May 5, 2017.
CW was a graduates of Hayworth High School and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of United Auto Workers Local 292 and attended Bethel Tabernacle Church in Kokomo. CW retired from Delco Electronics in 1992 after 30 years with the company.
In his spare time CW enjoyed studying history, landscaping and spending time outdoors. His most enjoyable moments were those spent with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer Guy of Kokomo, his son, Chris (Lisa) Guy of Kokomo along with his grandchildren; Jarred Evans, Dustin Evans, Alex Guy, Jacob Guy, Elizabeth Guy, Quinn Schlabach, Brooke (John) Radtke and Brittany Guy. Other survivors are his great grandchildren; Amslee Grace Marley, Jocelyn Radtke, and Allyssa Radtke. Also surviving are his siblings; Arzetta Moyer, Ora McClay, Jeannie Hancock, Ruth Barnes, and Delana Smith.
CW was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gloria, his son Brad Guy, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday February 27, 2018 from 11 AM to 1PM at the Bethel Tabernacle Church located at 661 West 400 South in Kokomo. Funeral services will follow visitation beginning at 1 PM. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Garden in Kokomo. Pastor Steven Branstutter will be officiating.
