Mrs. Mary S. Buffenmyer, 80, wife of Horace A. Buffenmyer, 310 S. State St., Ephrata, died at the Fairmount Rest Home, Farmersville, at 10:43 a.m. Thursday.
She and her husband have been guests at the home since August 1968, and they celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last Christmas Day.
Born in Lancaster County, she was a daughter or the Rev. Isaac W. and Catherine Shirk Taylor and resided in Ephrata for the past 50 years.
She was a member of Calvary Independent Church, Lancaster.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Isaac T., Bethlehem, Pa.; Samuel S., Latrobe and Mark A., Browntown; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren and a sister, Ruth, wife of H. Spencer Fry, Terre Hill.
