Joyce Newman, 69, of Grayson passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 26, 1949 in Carter City a daughter of the late Daniel Boone and Peachie Pauline Parsons Lee.
She was a housewife and mother, and a member of the Lower Grassy Church of Christ.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, Luther Lee, three sisters; Gloria Lee Newman, Shirley Verhey, and Regina Francis Lee.
She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Danny Newman; two daughters, Fonda Jo (Ray) Redecker of Ashland, KY and Kimberly Scott of Mount Sterling, KY; a brother, Michael Lee of Holland, MI; two sisters, Donna Ruth Davis of Fennville, MI, and Arlene Serr of Saugatuck, MI; three grandchildren, Samantha Noel (Justin) Davis, Jonathan Scott Newman, and Dakota Lee Conley; a great grandson, Christian James Davis

Funeral services will be Thursday, February 15, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home in Grayson, Larry Barrell and Roger McGlone, ministers. Burial will follow at Horsley Cemetery at Rock Springs.
