Mary F. Hightower, 91, of Bethany, OK went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, Feb 22, 2018. She was born in Morris, OK to Claude and Mamie (McCollum) Mitchell. She was a member of Bethany First Baptist Church since 1955 where she served as a Sunday School teacher and a prayer warrior for all who knew her. Mary was deeply loved by her family and will be greatly missed. Mary loved to sit and look out her kitchen window on a rainy day and sew, enjoyed finding bargains and antiquing and was a coupon collector. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold G. Hightower; and brother, Claude Mitchell Jr. Mary is survived by her sister, Betty Kelley and her husband Hugh K. of San Antonio, TX; daughters, Mary Lynne Curley of OKC, and Carol Ann Stutte of Hilo, HI; and son, H. Glenn Hightower Jr. and his wife Roberta of OKC; lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Laurie Weems and husband Mike, Kristi Wisenbaker, Kelli Gooch, Julie Lewis and husband Aaron, and Kimberly Quintana and husband Ron; great-grandchildren, Tanner, Trey, and Tate Gooch, Brandon, Ainsley, and Sarah Weems, and Gabe Lewis. Viewing will be Tues. Feb. 27, 12-9pm with family present from 4-6pm. Services 10:00am Wed. Feb 28 at Mercer-Adams Chapel with interment in Spring Creek Memorial Cemetery.
