Aubrey Franklin Baker, 74, of Laurel, Mississippi, died Friday, February 23rd, 2018 at Veterans Home in Collins, Mississippi. He was born Wednesday, April 14, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Salem Heights Baptist Church in Laurel, Mississippi. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Salem Heights Baptist Church and the Burial will follow in Salem Heights Cemetery. Rev Brent Benson will officiate. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. (601) 649-3342

Aubrey served our country in the US Air Force and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Cub Scout Master, Boy Scout Assistant Master. He was a member of Salem Heights Baptist Church and helped in the pre-school department and also an AWANA Leader.

He was preceded in death by Aubrey Slay Baker (Father), Ila Mae Swords Baker (Mother).

Survivors include wife Dale Baker of 35 years, Douglas Slay Baker (Son), James Franklin Baker (Son), Jimmy Baker (Sandra) (Brother), Benny Baker (Brother), Lauris Squyres (Sister), Buddy Baker (Janice) (Brother), Ida 'Sissy' Wolfe (Sister). Pallbearers and Honorary pallbearers will be Men’s Salem Heights Sunday School Class.
