A Celebration of Life, Memorial Service to honor Ms. Kelly Rene Griffin will be at 11 am, Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018 at Forest Park Funeral Home, with Celebrant Heidi Hickman officiating.



Ms. Griffin, 59, of Greenwood, LA passed away at home Friday, Feb. 20, 2018. Though a native of Shreveport, Kelly spent her formative years in Tennessee, having been baptized at West End Baptist and also, a proud alum, of Central High, each in Fayetteville, TN. At age 18, Kelly started her working career with AT&T, eventually concluding in management, within both Private and Non-Profit entities. She could also be found working a vendor booth at any given festival, proudly displaying her Louisiana Cultural, Home Décor, wares while also exhibiting her entrepreneurial spirit. Her Charitable efforts were: “As Big as Life” and she enjoyed traveling and camping.



Kelly was preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph Albert Griffin, JR and Betty Parks Brown. She is survived by her life partner, Edith L (Lorrie) Deen; siblings: Joseph A. Griffin, III, Kathy Fashee (Don), Carolyn (Tony) Franco, Karen Harper, Kandice (Danny) Davis; many cousins, nieces, nephews, and special Friends to include her treasured furry companions: Punkin, Taz, Chloe, and Sassy.



In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
