Dorothy Newton Wilkes, 50, of 2420 County Line Road, died Friday at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville.

She was a Robeson County native and the daughter of the late Roy Jasper and Wilma Wilkins Newton. She was a homemaker.

The funeral is Sunday at 2 p.m. at McNeill Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Church officiating. Burial is in the Gardens of Faith Cemetery in Lumberton.

She is survived by two sons, Billy Wilkins and Donald Wilkins, both of St. Pauls; two brothers, Junior Newton of Parkton and Harmon McDonald of Fayetteville; and a sister, Evelyn Owens of St. Pauls.

Visitation is tonight from 7 to 9 at McNeill Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
