*** The information that I have is that she was the daughter of John and Mary Hixon Dye. Her father moved to Virginia in about 1776 and there is an indenture (for a land purchase) between her father and her husband dated 1806 in Prince William County, Va. Her father was possibly married twice since Benjamin's wife Elizabeth also signed the 1806 indenture and I'm told that her name was Elizabeth Caywood.

It appears that both Benjamin Pridmore and John Dye both came to Virginia from New Jersey in about 1776 but I don't know if they came together or if they knew each other in New Jersey.

Benjamin died in 1847 and Lydia died in 1849 and was named as his wife in Benjamin's 1847 Will so I don't know where the other name that you showed came from.

Benjamin is my wife's 5th great grand uncle.
