Vera Lou Thompson, 64, of Florence, passed away February 20, 2018.
She was born December 11, 1953 in Raton, New Mexico to Frank B Trujillo and Lucy B. (Garcia) Trujillo.
Vera was a woman of strong faith who enjoyed playing the piano at her church as well as at home. She loved traveling with her husband Cliff and their dog JoJo. Vera had a passion for gardening and loved sharing the bounty of the garden with her family and friends. In addition to her passion for gardening she was actively in the process of remodeling her childhood home.
Vera is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mike) Willey, Quana Simpson, Joanne (Bob) Johns; sons, Michael (Wendy) Carpenter, Chris Thompson and Clif (Gretta) Thompson; parents, Frank and Lucy Trujillo; siblings, Barbara (Mark) Smithey, Frank(Janet) Trujillo, Charles(Paula) Trujillo; grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew and Emilee Willey, Makaila, Michael, Anthony, Allissa and Joslynn Carpenter, Tiesha, Triston, Chris, Anthony, Chad, AJ, Aaron, Austin, Alexis, Samuel, Anna, David, and Josh; nieces, Dakotah and Jaidyn Trujillo.
