Juanita DuBard Spencer, age 84, of Chattanooga passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 22, 2018 at her home.
She was born August 4, 1933 in Spartanburg, South Carolina to the late Robert & Gladys DuBard.
She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved gardening, politics, Christmas and her family.
She was a Registered Nurse in Rock Hill, South Carolina and most recently with Portamedic in Chattanooga.
Mrs. Spencer was a true friend who was always willing to help friends, neighbors and others in need.
Her husband, Ralph Earl Spencer and brother, Bobby DuBard preceded her in death.
Survivors include three daughters, Dawne (Gary) Keown of Chickamauga, Georgia, Diana (Gary Davis) Spencer of Decatur, Georgia, and Juanita (Richard) Meier of Sale Creek, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Amber (Wes) Hysell, Jason Keown, Adam Davis, Jami Perdue, Matt Davis, and Lacey Davis; three great grandchildren; and her beloved Shih Tzu, Sasha.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 28, 2018 from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel.
Burial will follow at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
