MARGARET BECKHAM ABER A loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother has passed. While on earth she lovingly tended her gardens. Every plant and flower she nurtured flourished. Now she walks in a heavenly garden where she tends to God's flowers. Margaret was born June 23, 1920, and died November 26, 2008 in Bay City, Texas after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William M. Aber Sr., father John Kirby Beckham, and her mother Rose, sister, Katherine Kruzleski, Frances Proctor, Beverly Hulon, brother Buck, brother-in-law Bert Aber and his son Jimmy, grandson Joshua Villarreal, and uncles and aunts George and Lilly Spalding, and Wesley and Willie Wilson. She leaves behind her daughters Barbara Irwin, Debra Perlman, Alisa Villarreal, son William M. Aber Jr., and wife Laura, five grandchildren Forreste Markowitz and husband Scott, James Aber, and wife Linda, Travis Perlman, and James and Jonathan Villarreal and four great- grandchildren Brandon and Max Markowitz, and Jordan and Ann Marie Aber, and her sister-in-law Nita Aber, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. The family thanks Matagorda Nursing and A-Med Hospice for their excellent care. Rabbi Roy Walters will conduct a memorial service on January 4, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel at Congregation Emanu El Cemetery 8341 Bissonnet Houston, Texas.
