Mrs. Mary L. Knipper, 83, of 4029 Welborn Lane in Kansas City, Kansas, passed away on Monday, February 5th, at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She was born in Germany and lived in Wyandotte County for 50 years. Mrs. Knipper was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. She was survived by her husband, Albert H. Knipper; four daughters, Mrs. Alma Kraft of 65 South 17th Street, Mrs. Rose Ann Lierz of 323 North Valley and Mrs. Edith Huggins of 2328 Birch Drive, all of Kansas City, Kansas, and Mrs. Jane Nelson of 239 West 52nd Street; four sons, Albert L. Knipper of 6021 Garnett in Shawnee, Wilfred A. Knipper of Pensacola, Florida, Edward R. Knipper of 1983 Stewart in Kansas City, Kansas, and Lawrence J. Knipper of Prairie Village; a half sister, Mrs. Laura Heldeman of Seneca, Kansas; 25 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

The Rosary was recited on Wednesday night at the Gibson-Butler Funeral Home, where friends called throughout the evening. Services were held on Thursday morning at the funeral home, followed by the Funeral Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kansas. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
