Dennis Michael “Gib” Gibson went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. He was born to Jane and Howard Gibson on April 4, 1958 in St. Louis, MO, where he was instilled with his passion for Cardinal baseball. Those who knew Dennis would say that he had a big heart, which would be a lot of people, as he never met a stranger. He truly cherished friendship, loved being out on the golf course any chance he could, and enjoyed listening to folk music - particularly John Prine. Dennis’ greatest joy, however, was in being Papa Gib to his grandkids. Dennis acknowledged he was a sinner in need of a great Savior.

Dennis is survived by his son Kody (Juli) Gibson and their children, Liv and Campbell, of Louisville, KY, his daughter Kaydee (Tyler) Cunningham of OKC, twin sister, Donna (Don) Roetker, sister Pam Gibson, and brothers Richard and Kevin Gibson. Dennis is proceeded in death by his parents, Jane and Howard, and his sister, Nancy Gibson. Here’s to you old skinny Dennis, you are one we truly will miss.

A come-and-go visitation and reception will be from 4-6pm on Sunday, February 25th at Crawford Family Funeral Service, Edmond.
A service honoring Dennis will be at 1:00pm on Monday, February 26th at Edmond's First Baptist Church with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery in Oklahoma City.
