Frank C. Green, 52, of 6 E. 31st St., died Saturday at his home after a long illness.
He was a native of Delaware. Mr Green worked as a storekeeper for the Penn Central railroad for 30 years. He was a past commander of the VFW Post 615 and a Navy veteran of World War II. For a number of years he played baseball and softball in semiprofessional and amateur leagues in Wilmington.
His survivors include a brother, William T. Green III, and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Morton and Mrs. Doris Lehman, all of Wilmington.
Services will be Wednesday afternoon at 2 at the McCrery Memorial Chapel, 3924 Concord Pike, Talleyville, where friends may call tomorrow night. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery.
