Charles R. Foster, 74, lof 902 Prospect Ave., Marshallton, died yesterday at his home after a brief illness.
A native of Wilmington, Mr Foster was employed as a machinist with the Bellanca Aircraft Corp. at New Castle for a number of years. He retired as a machinist in 1960.
Mr. Foster was an Army veteran of World War I, and was a member of the American Legion and the 40 an 8.
He is survived by his widow, Ida May Foster; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Pyle of Marshallton, and four grandchildren
Services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 at the McCrery Funeral Home, 3010 Kirkwood Highway. Interment will be in Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday night.
