Mrs. Ruby Irene Hendren Foster, age 83 of Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the daughters home.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM, Saturday February 24th, 2018 at Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church with Rev. David Wellborn officiating.
Mrs. Foster was born May 18, 1934 in Wilkes County to Sherman Bryant and Vessie Adelaide Edminston Hendren. She was retired from Holly Farms/Tyson Foods and was a member of Fishing Creek Arbor Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Boyden “Junior” Foster, her parents and two brothers; James (Jim) Hendren and Turner (Tobe) Hendren.
Mrs. Foster is survived by two daughters; Glenda Lane and husband Lonnie of Wilkesboro, Patsy Nichols and husband Henry of Wilkesboro, a son; Gary Foster and wife Teresa of Wilkesboro, four grandchildren; Kenny Nichols, Melinda Burcham, Shanna Bumgarner, Michael Foster, five great grandchildren; MacKenzie Foster, Trevor Foster, Issac Bumgarner, Bailey Bumgarner and Brooke Burcham and a sister; Kathleen Call of Wilkesboro.
