John Eugene Lee Bullard, 75, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in Bowie.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Februay 24, 2018 at Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie with Pastor Damon Groves officiating.
Arrangements entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home of Bowie.
John was born July 15, 1942 in Bowie to James and Marguerite (Causey) Bullard. He graduated from W.W. Samuell High School in Dallas.
John was an entrepreneur. Some saw him as a maverick. Over the years, he participated in numerous business ventures in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and Aspen, Colorado. Dad loved living and working in Colorado, but he eventually returned to Bowie to care for his parents and rekindle his love for ranching. He faithfully served his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ until the day he was called home
He is preceded in death by his parents, and infant son John Bullard Jr.
James is survived by his sons Jimmy Bullard of Springhill, FL and Jerry Bullard of Colleyville, grandchildren Andrew Bullard, Elizabeth Bullard, Cole Bullard all of Colleyville, Joshua Bullard of Dallas, Jordan Bullard of Avinger, Joey Annitto and Thomas Annitto both of Springhill, FL, sister Carol Greer and husband Tommy of Mequite, nephews David Franks and Darrell Greer, and niece Jamie Smith.
