Born on November 28, 1929 at home on Clark Road, Watertown Twp. in Clinton County, MI to Henry and Bertha (Trieweiler) Hundt. She graduated from Resurrection High School and the Lansing Business University. She worked 11 years at Alta Medical Supply. She enjoyed painting, sewing, playing golf, travel and her good friends at Houghton Lake, MI, Florida and Lansing. She is survived by her dear husband John and her children, Karin (Rick) Wierman of Traverse City, Michael Johns of Dimondale, Jinene Johns of Lansing, Thomas (Debra) Johns of Holt, stepchildren: Randy (Roxann) Ellis of Dimondale and Jeff Ellis of Raleigh, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Charles “Charlie” Johns and step daughter Cindy Acuna.
Funeral Services will be Monday at 11:00AM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Holt-Delhi Chapel, 5035 Holt Rd, Holt with Rev. Fr. Bill Lugger of St. Casimir Catholic Church presiding. Rite of Committal will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Visitation is Sunday, 5:00-8:00PM at the funeral home and Monday beginning at 10:00AM.
