Delores J. (Eads) Franklin was reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, parents and oldest son in the late hours of February 20, 2018. She was surrounded and encased in absolute love, with her daughter, son, and son-in-law by her side and holding her hands.

Delores was born a "town girl" to William Earl and Blanche (Collins) Eads in Anderson, Indiana. She was an only child however helped raise numerous younger cousins that she always loved as siblings.

Delores graduated from Anderson High School in 1948. She loved working in the medical field and helping people. She worked as a dental assistant for several local dentists before returning to school to become a nurse. She loved working as a nurse in several local offices and left the field after she married her beloved Leland and they started a family. Years later, she worked for Payless Supermarkets as both a food demonstrator and head of their cooking school. She thrived in these positions and everyone who knew her, loved her.

Delores married her beloved, "farm boy", Leland in 1963. They remained married until his passing in 2015.

Delores had three children, son Craig, deceased, son Leland (Angie) Franklin and daughter, Rebecca (Roger) Paschal. She further had five grandchildren, Michael, Daniel, Noelle, Holly, and Joshua. They truly were the light of her life and she adored them.

Delores spent the last several years of her life residing in Ohio with her husband, until his passing, and then after, at the home of her daughter and family. There she enjoyed the crazy chaos of a large family that reminded her of her younger years with all of her cousins.

Delores was a long standing member of East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson and counted her church family as part of her true family.

Delores' spirit and body are healed. She is happy and whole again, surrounded by the people she adores and missed so much while on the last part of her earthly journey. The family knows that when she closed her eyes here, she opened them up to see Jesus, her beloved husband, son and parents....in this they are comforted.

Funeral services , February 23, 2018 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Nathan Lutterman. Burial will follow at East Maplewood Cemetery. .
